A Statement about the Former Kamloops Residential School

This past weekend, Canadians learned about an unimaginable discovery at the former Kamloops Residential School. This is difficult information to process, and we can’t even begin to understand the pain suffered by all involved. 

In light of this news, Cadillac Fairview has made a contribution to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society, which is a provincial organization with a twenty-year history of providing services to Residential School Survivors. We are also paying our respects to the Indigenous community by lowering all of our flags to half-mast.

Our thoughts are with our Indigenous employees, clients and all Indigenous Communities across Canada.
